After having multiple packs (both issued and personal), the Kelty Peregrine has to be my absolute favorite. It honestly is the better EDC-friendly version of the MAP 3500 that I was issued a few years back. The versatility that it offers is incredible, especially since it doesn't scream out "MILITARY" like the majority of packs that are currently issued. I can use my pack for the day-to-day carry of admin, chow, PT gear, and water to sliding in my medical inserts for anytime I have to cover a field operation or range. Hands down this is the best pack you can get to meet both MILSPEC standards and keep a discreet profile.

I use this back pack for college purposes. As a former Army Infantryman, I enjoy a durable, well-built pack. Granted, my books don't weigh 80+ pounds, but I feel confident that if they did, this bag would handle it with ease. The bag is not festooned with any MOLLE straps to make it look like anything more than a student's book bag. This bag provides plenty of storage space for books, drinks, and other administrative items.

great backpack...i shoot culture pieces for National Geographic, so i am always looking for a way to work that is unobtrusive and i do not want to appear to be carrying a camera bag...this just looks like any other backpack, but is particularly well built and holds easily (with inserts) all my camera gear...
