recently received this duo and though it does not have shoulder straps it is excellent for many purposes. I use it for my hydration needs and also those of my pets. This bag works great for dog food and water bowls. My two chow chows and my girl friends 2 boxers often accompany us on our outdoor excursions and this bag takes care of all their needs without cutting into our own packing allotments. Thanks kelty for another great product!!!!
