I just got the 2.2 Pro a couple of weeks ago with a 2.1 pro footprint. I also have a Kelty 3.1 pro with 3.1 pro footprint. My next tent is going to be a Grand Mesa 4 with foot print and a Gunnison 1.1 with footprint.I don't think I can make a honest evaluation, I think I'm a little biased. The only reason I did not give 5 stars as
I have other Kelty gear is I'm not sure how kelty gets the measurments for the vestibule and should be more information on pole diameter and number of stakes and guy out points and what kind of stakes. It was a real unexpected treat to see the "no bendem" stakes and reflective line with the Pro tents. I useally have to replace the lines and stakes when I get a new tent. Not so with Kelty. Also, my opinion, if you use 25in pads instead of 20in pads these tent are true to what they claim to be un-like some that claim to be a 2 person tent but are only 44in wide, true if you use 20in pads but not 25in pads. In my to many to count years of backpacking, canoeing, kayaking and old fashion car camping, I abuse the crap out of tents and gear. I get just as good or better service with a kelty pack or tent or bag for a few hundred bucks as I do from some ((name withheld)) 5 or 600 dollor tent and MUCH better then that wall company gear,,, yuck... hope this helps someone. And I hope to rate more kelty gear soon.
I've slept in this tent 1/2 dozen times and plan to get years of use out of it, the pitch is a little loose but the size is true and fits perfect in the hatch of my sea kayak
