I was replacig an older Kelty that just finally wore out and a very nice lady at Kelty helped me decide on the Redtail. It is excellant. Very well made, in fact, maybe a little over-constructed. Extremely comfortable. The front pocket is perfect. Handles in the right place for using. I got the orange because I use this on my motorcycle. I truly recomend not only this pack, but since I now own 3 Kelty's I'd recommend any of them. A tent is next! Jeff

This is the perfect bag pack for you weekend hikers out there. Just big enough to pack all the essentials but not too bulky that will weigh you down. Very comfortable and well designed!
