I read a few of the reviews above, and regardless decided to pick this item up. Its basically a barebones "shell" of the Parthenon 6/8 tent. Which I felt is a good thing. I picked up the large version of the screenhouse which has a 13x11' footprint(Parthenon 8). I can see why some people wished it was a bit taller, but unless your over 6'3" tall your head is not going to touching the top. Regardless its a well built unit, is water tight and does a great job of keeping the bugs out. In regards to a few other reviewers mentioning that water pools on the top. Definetly not the case but you MUST properly set up this shelter and use the guy lines and adjust them PROPERLY. I get a funny feeling the people who left poor reviews did NOT set the shelter up properly or take the time to do so. The Screenhouse comes with Nite Ize Figure 9 guyline adjusters (website: http://www.niteize.com/products/figure-9-tent-line-kit ) And when properly setup the shelter will not droop or pool with water up top and will be very stout in high wind conditions due to its low/moderate height. All in all its a great product IF set up correctly.

My initial impression of the Screenhouse was impressive! Previously, my family had been using a WalMart bought, pop-up shade canopy. The transition to the Screenhouse significantly reduced the cargo capacity needs of our vehicle and significantly increased functionality. Now, when rain, wind, sun, bugs, cold become issues, we simply close up the Screenhouse and the whole family is protected. Additionally, we can now move all car camping gear into the Screenhouse when we depart for the days events with much less worry of damage or disappearance. Vertical walls on the two door sides and near vertical on the ends. Usefulness of all interior space was incredible! Overall stability of the Screenhouse was amazing. Between the exoskeleton and the abundant stake-out points, stability was never a concern. Setup was a breeze. The exoskeleton was easy and very self-explanatory. Happy wife happy life. Need I say more????

Bought the medium screenhouse 2 years ago. I reflect the same comments as another reviewer as the tent could use more headroom. It does cover a large picnic table that could seat 10-12 persons. This is how I use the shelter. It does keep out the bugs but, being a single walled tent condesation can be a problem. I resolved this by purchasing a Noah's Tarp to cover the unit and give it another cover which can breath. Problem solved! It goes up with a little struggle, but, I can assemble it by myself without to much problem. It is a tight pitch. Make sure to stake it down well as it does have tall vertical sides. It is a good screen house and works well!

we bought this screen tent 2 years ago and have mixed feelings. the tent is not tall enough but its ok. we recently had a rain storm and had to sit at the table under the tent. we did not get wet at all. plenty of room but a little short but our heads do not touch the top. hard to get the poles out of the grommets, but it stayed up in a huge wind storm that dropped tents in the campground. this was better than our old screen tent but we will wait for the kelty improvement. our tent is a kelty and we have had that for ten years and it is still going strong.

We bought this one 2 years ago -- same design, different color (blue instead of green). It's OK but not great. I find it difficult to set up, in fact, this year one of the corner seams tore while I was trying to get a pole in the grommet. Also, the shelter is not really high enough...I am always ducking to avoid the top of the shelter. Wouyld I buy this shelter again? Definitely not, I just ordered one from a different company. My wife and I are planning a cross Canada/USA tour in 2012 and we need to find something that is easy to set up.
