Speedster Swivel-Deluxe

I spend a month researching and reading about all the jogging strollers on the market and ended up buying the Kelty. I could not be happier with the stroller, it is wonderfully narrow, the sun shade is huge, the pockets and water holder great and i find the 2 step shut down fabulous. The adjustable handle closed the deal as my husband is 6 foot 2 and i am 5 foot 5. I love the adjustable tracking more than anything because i have used this and as a result it always tracks straight when i adjust it as necessary. This is an awesome product and the other great thing is its is at the lighter end of the spectrum and runs like a dream!!!

Love the stroller and using it while working out. The adjustable handle is great so my two year old can push the stroller and ring the bell. The stroller folds up quite small (fits in the trunk of my prius). My only complaint is that the latch on the side is hard to engage, but perhaps it loosens up and becomes easier after time. I would highly recommend this stroller.

We love our stroller. We were able to set it up no problem and our 8 month old loves cruising around in it. We live on a farm and we use it all over our uneven terrain with no problems. The swivel wheel makes navigating much easier. We don't jog but use it to take the baby around the farm so we can get some work done. She loves it. The big basket underneath is great for carrying lots of stuff. and the shade canopy is great for keeping the sun out of her eyes no matter what time of day. The only complaint I have is that we have already broken three of the plastic gear teeth that serve as a break on one of the wheels. We may call and get a new wheel but for now we will just be more careful engaging the break. I wish both breaks engaged at once rather than having to lock each wheel separately. But this is no big deal and I am very happy with the stroller.

This is the best jogging stroller I have ever used. It has a nice solid build to it, and my runs are always smooth. I have used this in races and marathons, and on my every day runs. I hope to get the Deuce next.

We first owned the Single Fixed Wheel and after the first use realized there was an issue with the frame as the stroller kept pulling to the right every 3-4 steps...very annoying, especially since the first use was a quick run to a local playground in which my 2yr old BROKE his leg and the run home using that stroller to seek medical attention was a nightmare...we had to keep stopping to re-align stroller as it kept pulling to the right. My husband was ready to throw it away after that experience!! I noticed that Kelty guaranteed their products so contacted them a couple days later after we settled from the whole broken leg/cast ordeal. Kelty admitted that was a problem they have heard of and agreed to pay for return shipping...a few phone calls and about a month later I received a rather large package containing a replacement stroller - they sent us a Swivel Deuce at no additional charge!!! Perfect, considering I just delivered our 2nd child by then. The double has not given us any problems and after 2yrs of use we are still very happy with it! HOWEVER, since this review is for the single then I feel it is my responsibility to future buyers to share my experience regarding their single stroller. Kelty no longer sells the fixed wheel...maybe because of the above issue? Regardless, I would NOT purchase the single - our great customer service with Kelty and how they stood behind their product convinced our brother-in-law to purchase the single and have had nothing but trouble with the stroller. Kelty did agree to look at the stroller but not pay $50+ return shipping. Sent a brand new single to them with the same issues and has ignored calls regarding the situation. The single has a problem with the frame whereas once you start to jog it rattles to the point of being a safety hazard to your child! I feel it is unsafe and for 2 people who are avid runners and spent $375 on a stroller they can only walk with is a waste and Kelty would really gain a lot of respect by just refunding their money as replacing the stroller only proved it was not an isolated incident. So if you are on the market for a single stroller, you'd be better off with a different brand!

We liked this stroller but, after about the 15th use, it broke. The screw that holds the adjustable handle to the stroller popped out when we took it down 2 steps as we were leaving the house. Without specialized tools, we are unable to re-attach. The stroller is now useless.

First baby jogger I have ever owned and I personally don't think I would look at any others. Rock solid performance. We strap our 7 Month old in here and she cruises along perfectly, nice and secure in her 5 point harness. I can not say enough good things about this stroller. It has saved many a arguments when it comes time to see who is going to go for a run. Mom or Dad ... well now it is all 3 of us. Dad pushes the stoller and we are set. We even ring the bell when it is time for momma to pick up the pace. Getting use to running with it takes a few miles but it is well worth it. Bottle holder and basket underneath are nice features as well. Living in the Northeast I may have to pick up a weather shield as well.
