I like the top pocket of the new design. Yes, I miss that interior pocket on the old model but I can fit a lot more stuff into the new one. Sleek, clean design and access to all of my contents with the new zipper design is nice, too. Comfortable straps and the fit is perfect for me. Holds a ton of stuff but it doesn't feel like a ton. If it had loops for trekking poles I'd give it another star, although the pass-thru behind the side pockets works, too. Above-average for a daypack or just big enough as an overniter. Nicely done.
