Just used my new deluxe on a campout and it is great! I love the amount of storage you can put in both arm rests and the 3 settings for reclining are great. Might want a foot stool to go with it for all the napping you're going to do. It is large. Much bigger than the regular chairs you get at the big box stores. You'll feel like a king! By far the best chair we have owned. Loved it so much that we are getting the love seat version. Ivan on May 8th 2018
Super comfortable chairs with a great carrying case. No more cramming the chair in a little bag. Unknown on Jun 5th 2017
The deluxe lounge chair is awesome. Love the fact that you can recline it. Ron on Jun 5th 2017
Like everything kelty makes this thing is tough as nails and crazy comfortable! Trevor S. on Apr 19th 2017
Only get this chair if you are prepared to never go back, after sitting in this chair, you won't want to.
Upright: in the upright position you are already more comfortable than the standard camp chair that tends to make you feel slightly hunched forward and uncomfortable around the camp fire. The adjustable arms and slightly reclined position make for a more relaxed sitting posture.
Half reclined: the half reclined position was something I had never experienced in a camp chair, the feeling of true relaxation. This will likely be my go-to setting for hanging out after a day if hiking.
Full reclined: get ready to take a nap, the fully reclined position with some sort of foot rest is as good a place to catch a nap as you could hope for.
It seemed best to lower the armrests a bit more with each reclining position which was really nice.
I love the carry bag.
Although I was hesitant about the deluxe price compared to typical camp chairs, I found this chair was worth every penny.

I love this chair! Originally what drew me to this chair was the recline feature but that is just the tip of the preverbal iceberg on my new favorite camp chair! First off, this is not your standard $20 camp chair with a Kelty logo slapped on it. The frame is substantially "beefier" than it's cheaper cousins, but still manages to be fairly lightweight. The reclining feature makes the chair comfortable enough to sleep in. insulated/adjustable cup holders mean you can easily fit a can or your Nalgene bottle in either side. Kelty has also finally solved the problem of stuffing camp chairs back in those stupid sleeves they come in by making a wrap around bag that also doubles as a ground mat if you're inclined to go shoeless while you're enjoying the chair. This chair is very sturdy and put together well. I am short (5'3") and I feel very small in it and my feet do not touch the ground, so I could use a little smaller chair, but that is due to my stature and not the manufacturing of the chair! It is very comfy also. Unknown on Jun 16th 2016
OK, so I wouldn't want to lug this throne more than a few miles, but for car camping it is as good as it gets; totally comfortable, dual beverage holders, adjustable arms, and you can tell immediately that it could last a decade. You pay a bit extra but the high quality seems completely worth it. Add a foot-rest and I can easily sleep in it in the reclined setting. Another great Kelty product - might get the dual chairs next! We love the new Deluxe Lounge Chair, especially the easy to use carrying bag. No more having to shove the folded chair into a bag. Open up its carrying case put the feet of the chair in the pocket and roll it it up in the carrying case click the 3 adjustable straps together and off you go!! We also like the insulated beverage holder in the adjustable arms! As well as the adjustable back of the chair with 3 positions of adjustability. I do miss having a bottle opener on the arm of the chair like my older version of the Deluxe Lounge Chair has. We still use those when we have company at our camp sites, or around the house when we entertain outside. My Brother-inlay is a husky guy and calls the Deluxe Lounge Chair a "big guy" chair because he fits in it perfectly. Whether you a "big guy" or just an average size person, you'll love this chair!!
