This Kelty classic has been in the line-up for years and gets a new makeover for 2017. With its famed functionality in mind, the Gunnison is now even more user-friendly and comfortable. Easy-to-use Kelty Connect pole connections create a hassle-free setup and the roll-top cube carry bag makes it easy to pack. We've also stayed true to some of its beloved features, like the included foot print and dual-zipper vestibule which doubles as an awning when trekking poles are in the mix. In addition to its new look, the Gunnison comes with a little more head and shoulder room. Calling all backpackers, car campers, festival-goers, and everyone in between, the new Gunnison will satisfy your soul no matter what you're into.

Went tent camping in Yosemite and worked well. Easy set up, easy takedown, enough room for my wife and I. Andrew on Apr 19th 2018
FIRST time camper! Setting up this tent was a breeze. Went solo in Glacier National Park. Had so much fun I already reserved another camping spot. It rained the first night but I stayed nice and dry. Had plenty of space for myself and my Kelty Redtail 27 backpack. I would def. recommend this tent to anyone! Unknown on Aug 4th 2017
My son and I used this tent on our trek at the Philmont Scout Ranch, July 7-19, 2017. This is a great tent for two people. The poles are light weight, like the specifications say the tent does weight what it says. it packed up great in my Kelty Red Cloud 90 back pack. I would recommend this tent to anyone wanting to purchase a great tent.
The only cons I have for this tent, is when the rain fly gets wet as it did on our trek after four days of rain and couldn't air it out, it weighted heavy in my pack. Also had a problem with the zipper on the vestibule, once it got dirt/ mud in it it wouldn't zip down right. Had a hard time with the right side zipper on the vestibule when it got the dirt/mud in it, even after i washed it with water from my water bottle, it wouldn't zip down with out problems.
It was only when I got it back home and washed it with the garden hose did the zipper work correctly. We did have a small amount of leaks from the side of the tent, but nothing very bad, just small amounts after heavy rain. I'd recommend treating the tent after you got it with camp dry. I usually spray all my tents with camp dry, but didn't on this tent. Luckily nothing got seriously wet, just very small amounts on the tent floor. Tent stakes are easy to bend if your not careful staking them down. I had three bend on me.
Pros - The tent rain fly never leaked. The whole tent including foot print are easy to roll up and pack. Tent is easy to clean after use, I used a small amount of camp soap, and a small terry cloth to wash off all the dirt, it cleaned up great. Tent is light weight as long as its not wet. I would highly recommend this tent to anyone.

Therefore, I would not expect less. This is a great tent. Plenty of room for a 2 man. I'm
Typically solo in the tent, so lots of room for me and my gear. Kelty products are great and have always met and exceeded expectations. Chad on Jul 19th 2017
