Coming in at a cool 3 lbs. and 10 oz., the Horizon 2 is the lightest-weight member of the Kelty family. Pitching is quick and easy with a hybrid one-piece design, a hubbed pole system, and Kelty Hug Clip and Kelty Connect pole connections. We built this structure with backpackers in mind and included a Stargazing Fly for your inner astronomer. Lastly, the dual-zipper vestibule gives you the option of creating an awning, so you can still enjoy some fresh air even when the weather doesn’t cooperate.

I just got back from a backpacking trip where I was able to use this tent. Set up was easy and quick. Taking it back down was just as easy. I liked the mesh top more than I thought I would. It gave a nice view of the night sky. It was a great buy. Unknown on May 14th 2018
Ripped at the seal by the zipper the first night we used it. Are about to look into the warranty for it Unknown on May 10th 2018
The design of this tent cuts down on weight and set-up time without sacrificing anything you'd expect in a 2-person tent. And if you're using it as a roomier 1-person tent, it's a piece of cake to set up for a solo person too. The fly design provides better ventilation that I'm used to, which leads to slightly cooler temps on chilly/cold nights, but I'd much rather add an extra layer than suffer in warmer tents, so it's something to consider, but not at all a flaw. Excited to use the stargazing roof when I camp under the open sky. Unknown on May 7th 2018
This tent was great for my back packing tent with some buddies down the Grand Canyon in September of 2017. Super light, super easy set up. Had my buddies very envious.

Got my package and put it together before I left for work and only had 30 minutes left to get there. The tent was super easy to set up the only scary part was thinking the rods would break when setting up. And taking it down was just way too easy the online video wasn't exaggerating on anything. Now to set it up outside in the WILD Carlos Lara on Apr 17th 2018
Set it up at home before taking it into the field. Super easy set up and take down procedure! Light weight and is going to be awesome to use! Michael Johnson on Sep 14th 2017
Simple to assemble, but not sure the full step to keep the whole tent. Unknown on Mar 24th 2017
