  1. WillBendium

Like the other reviewer noted, they bend. Alot.

    Mine resemble anodized wet noodles.
I think in some applications they'll work.

Get the DAC V staked from Kelty, those are very tough!

  2. A Bit Better Than Standard

These are definitely better than the round shaft aluminum stakes, but they will still bend easily if you aren't careful with them. I live in Arizona and the only stakes that you won't bend here are essentially just a giant steel nail, 10" long and 3/8" thick. Of course you wouldn't take those monsters backpacking, so if you're looking for lightweight these are as good as anything I've found. on Jul 22nd 2016

  3. Free gift?

I purchased a 16 foot Noah tarp. When it arrived I was surprised to find included in the stuff sack six of these gold anodized tent stakes in a little green sack. The ad said poles and stakes not included. Thanks for the freebie!
Now for the review: I tried them out in the soft sands of Florida and the shale rock/river bottom loam of the Pennsylvania mountains with the same results. No bending, even when I hammered one of them into a subterranean hemlock tree root. I had to use a claw hammer and a block of wood as a fulcrum to pull it out. It did not bend! Much better than the yellow plastic stakes I have been using.

  4. Nobendium misnomer

I have a pack of 6 of which two are beyond repair and the other four are in various shapes other than straight. I don't see where Kelty has a warranty on these, so I'm disappointed in their marketing of these stakes. on Apr 24th 2016

  5. Stakes

I have been buying Kelty Products for years. They have the best warranty, and customer service which is very hard to find.
When you buy a new tent they never come with enough stakes, it doesn't matter what manufacture this is just a given. So I decided I was going to try these AWESOME NO BEND STAKES. Price is great, durability is great, and they come with a nice little bag with a Velcro closer, nice and tidy. I also replaced all my stakes with these and I'm going to buy more for my backpack tarp kitchen. I LOVE KELTY!!!
Thanks again for making a great product. Customer for life!!!

  6. Customer Review

I live in NC here we have hard red clay. When I pushed the stake in with my foot (ground was to hard to push in with my hand) it went in very smoothly but when i pulled the stake out while taking down the tent I realized the stake had bent 30+ degrees. on May 23rd 2015

  7. Customer Review

I replace evry stake I have using these. They are the best! on Jul 9th 2014
