There's a reason why the Redcloud has been in the Kelty line for years. A perfect blend of load carrying capacity, comfortable suspension, custom fit, simplified organization, and durable construction make this load hauler the only pack you'll need for extended backcountry adventures. PerfectFIT™ suspension is designed to be fully adjustable to fit your torso length and carry a heavy load, providing unmatched stability and comfort on the trail.
This large pack is super easy to load with the top loading design and sleeping bag compartment, but you won't have any issues finding what you need with the front-panel access and zippered side pockets. No need for an extra day pack - the lid of the pack also converts into a sling pack. Bonus! Hydration and snacks won't be an issue either with its hydration compatible design and hip belt pockets for small items. The LightBeam™ dual aluminum stays are connected to the hip belt providing direct load transfer while the anti-barreling stays keep the scapula pad flat--even if the pack is overloaded. The HDPE-reinforced, dual density waist belt improves load-support and enhances overall carrying comfort as well while the dual positions for load-lifters straps keeps the pack weight from shifting. Finally, the AirMesh shoulder straps, waist belt, and lumbar pad are designed to keep air moving through and keep you comfortable all day. Hip belt can be removed. For hikers who demand excellence and durability at an affordable price, the Redcloud 110 delivers.
Used extensively the Red Cloud 5600 bought in 2011. 4 trips to Rocky Mountains (2 weeks avg. each) and monthly weekend camping for past 7 years. Old Pack is just plain wore out. Hitting Rocky Mountains again this July and bought the Red Cloud 110 for planned 12 day Trek. Most notable upgrades are: 1) Harness adjustments...awesome! 2) Pack compartments and accessibility especially into main compartment. 3) Top Pack conversion into Day Pack...very handy. 4) Size...Big comfortable Pack for extended Back Country travels. I like the redcloud 110 , its roomy and allows you to bring a lot of gear.I like the fit, it makes a heavy load carry well.I like the pockets and ease of access to get at your stuff. Ryan Bucknum on Sep 1st 2017
I really like my Kelty redcloud 110, it carries fifty pounds easy .It has plenty of room and fits really well.It s well made and with all the pockets its easy to get at your gear. Unknown on Aug 30th 2017
After years of an external frame I finally made the switch. I overloaded the pack for a weekend trip to replicate longer trips. It was completely different to pack and distribute weight, but once it was loaded and on it was beyond comfortable. The ability to adjust on the fly was great. Not completely sold on an internal frame, but extremely happy with the REDCLOUD 110. A. Duncan on Aug 23rd 2017
The Redcloud 110 is a quality pack. It's light weight and very comfortable. Lot's of room. This is the my first pack from Kelty and it won't be the last. Unknown on Jul 10th 2017
Good pack but horrible color choice Unknown on May 21st 2017
After a weekend out backpacking in the rain and mud, the color of the pack is my last concern. Fit adjustments were exceptional. Belt padding is good. Plenty of pockets and access to the main compartment. A rain cover being included would be nice. I have not had time yet to figure out the attached day pack. lost in the woods on Apr 24th 2017
I ordered this pack at the beginning of summer and have put it through some serious use! Overall the pack has performed really well and can easily withstand a heavy weight load. I see a lot of folks complaining about the color scheme but honestly the green is much darker than pictures illustrate, especially if you get it a bit dirty - as you should ;) With 110L's this thing can carry basically anything you need, seriously, any more room and your pack would be too heavy to want to hike with. Two improvements this pack could use:
1. Make the side stretch pockets taller w/ an elastic tightening band so things don't fall out.
2. Improve upon the ease of use for the very bottom storage zipper. Sorta hard to zip when fully packed.
All in all I would highly recommend this pack. I love it and receive compliments everytime I take it out. This thing gets the job done! Solid work Kelty!

These packs are well made and are suitable for the hiker looking for any extended backpacking trip. The features and rugged construction are a huge plus. Having said that however, the color selections are AWFUL! Kelty, please bring back the low key colors (Black, Forest Green, or Coyote Brown). On a personal note I would like to see Any of the Red cloud or Coyote pack series offered in CAMO ( Desert or Woodland either one). PLEASE take these suggestions to heart. Unknown on Jul 8th 2016
Everyone is hammering on the color and I don't get why? The pine color looks fine to me...
The pack is very comfortable although I haven't hit the trail yet..There's plenty of room for all of my gear & then some! I like the side access to main compartment and separate compartment for sleeping bag.
AWESOME PACK! no regrets.. Unknown on Jun 2nd 2016
