Used this guy twice since I got him and it has been stellar. He loves ultralighting all day; I can fit every essential I would like to take and anything I don't need but want to have with me. Adjustments are super easy and very elegant, pockets are great sizes. I would recommend this guy for ultralight hiking/camping and travel, grocery shopping, a temporary tool box, a dog carrier (yes, I had my chiweenie in it); well, you get it, many things. Great pack! Full disclosure -- I haven't had a chance to use this pack on the trails yet, but I have been living out of it for the last two weeks while traveling. It's dimensions aren't quite perfect for airline carry ons, but no one has asked me any questions about it [I just cinch it down really tightly, so it looks smaller!].
I'm a 5'11" female + this pack fits great. For the first time in a really long time the waist band actually fits where it needs to -- on my freaking hips! Thanks to this my shoulders + back of held up to 10+ miles of walking with this pack on. This makes me really excited for upcoming backpacking trips where my pack will actually fit correctly!
It's been great for holding all my clothes + gear for 6 weeks of travel [albeit, no tent this time!]. I love that it's a more 'city' color so it doesn't quite stick out like a sore thumb on the city streets. I only wish that the red was a bit more toned down as well, but hey, that's just me being picky. Heidi on May 7th 2018
Great quality, nice looking and designed with functionality in mind. Raingear should be quickly and easily accessible and there's a perfect pocket to keep it handy. Side and front pockets help keep you organized. Bravo! OSCAR on Apr 23rd 2018
And more. This backpack is pretty epic. Love it. Daniel on Nov 13th 2017
The PAC is well engineered, very comfortable to wear, excellent design on pockets, pass throughs, zippers, easy to attach many things.
I've been getting so many comments from other hikers on the look of the pack. Also used it at the airport. Love the Kelty pack! Jeff Juz on Feb 3rd 2017
I have been shopping around for a pack for the last few months, looking for a pack that I can use for everything from hiking, camping, and going out of town for a few days. I love how this bag allows me to remove the hip belt when its not needed such as going on family vacations, and camping. Also being able to store my tripod along the side of the bag is great. The material that this bag is made from seems durable and it should last a long time. There were a lot of packs that I tried on at REI that were so thin I was questioning whether or not they would even last a year of normal use. The pack fits all my gear that I normally take with some room to spare.
Thank you Kelty for making a great product! Clayton Millican on Jan 24th 2017
This bag is made well, super comfortable to wear, and has a ton of space for packing. I'm very satisfied with it Nick on Jun 15th 2016
I just picked up my bag yesterday so I haven't traveled with it yet, but it's the perfect size for me. I like all the exterior pockets, but wish there were more interior mesh pockets for organizing. It's very comfortable to carry. Would also recommend a built in cover for the straps for airline travel. I purchased a rain cover to use instead. Otherwise, seems like a great bag! Fancy... yes. Comfortable, you bet. Durable, reliable, and best on and off the trail. Perfect for a day trip or even an overnight camping trip. There's plenty of room inside with plenty of compression straps to keep everything in place. I also use this while traveling. This pack fits perfectly in the overhead compartment of an airplane! Hands free in an airport is a lifesaver, especially when you have everything you need on your back. I love this pack and would recommend it to anyone. Unknown on Mar 24th 2016
