Works well and fits great! Super warm. Melissa Browne on Aug 6th 2018
I have had my tuck 22 for over 3 years now and it has exceeded my expectations. I regularly visit the Buffalo National River and only backpack in the fall and winter. From 15 to 50 degrees I take this bag everywhere. If it's below 25ish I take an extra blanket to put inside with me and sleep in my clothes and it keeps me warm.
The size is great and weight even better for backpacking. Truly a great bag for the money. Wade on Dec 17th 2017
We love our sleeping bag and feel weight design and quality are exceptional. Phil on Oct 3rd 2017
I just completed a 2 week trip along the John Muir Trail with the Tuck 20. Temperatures at night never reached below 40 degrees but I was cold the entire trip. After the first night I started to layer-up until by the end of the trip I was literally wearing every layer I had to stay warm.
I contacted Kelty at the end of my trip and after sending a few pics to them they said the fill appeared to be fine. Because the bag was purchased over 30 days ago they said they could not warranty or credit my purchase towards a higher end 20 degree bag. I'm very disappointed in the product and response from Kelty given I've been a loyal customer for over 20 years.
While the Tuck 20 has some great features, which originally attracted me to it, I would not recommend it for anyone doing any real camping. Unknown on Sep 15th 2017
I also bought this bag for a trip to Philmont (near Cimarron, NM) on 7/31 - 8/11, 2017. We camped anywhere from 4,500 ft to 9,800 ft and this bag was very warm, almost too warm for me so I loved the zipper at the bottom to stick your feet out. It came in handy when needing to warm up after being rained and hailed on several times.
The bag also compressed nicely for fitting into backpack.

I ordered two of the Tuck 22 sleeping bags for my son and I, for our hiking trip at Philmont Scout Reservation, in New Mexico. Itinerary 24 July 8-19. These sleeping bags are great. Temps at night would get down between 40-50s. These sleeping bags were warm, even after it rained all day with a little hail, temps dropped that night and we were still able to stay warm.
The sleeping bag is light enough and fits perfect in my Kelty Red Coud 90 back pack. The zipper does stick a little when zipping closed, but nothing really bad. I'd highly recommend this sleeping bag to anyone, including scouts going to Philmont. Eric on Jul 28th 2017
This sleeping bag exceeeded my expectations! This is a great bag for the price. Arthur on Jul 4th 2017
I bought this bag for a two week back packing trek in Philmont in Cimarron, New Mexico. I am going to tell you that is worked great and even dried out relatively fast when we had to hike through storms. The weather was crazy cold for middle of summer in New Mexico. It was around 35 degrees Fahrenheit for a few of the nights and I was very warm and toasty. On the other hand, I went camping a few nights ago and it got down well below 15 degrees Fahrenheit and I was cold, but not to the point I couldn't sleep. Overall this is a great bag for the price! I would definitely recommend it! Paxton on Feb 8th 2017
First, let me say I really do like this bag. Its roomy and comfortable (I am 5'7 and used a regular bag), and for synthetic not huge. BUT it did not keep me warm to the temperatures it was rated for. As a female, I didn't expect it to keep to the EN 22, which is a rating for men, but I did expect it to keep me warm to at least the low 30's. I took it out on a 3 night backpacking trip in the Great Smoky Mountains in late November, and we had some pretty cold nights (mid 20's to mid 30's). I was cold, even with all my layers on, and ended up using my boyfriend's extra 40 degree down bag inside of this one... I was pretty roasty with that and woke up sweating. I used the thermarest zlite sol as my sleeping pad. Bottom line: I am keeping this bag, but wont backpack with it and wont take it out in temperatures lower than about 39/40. natasha on Nov 25th 2015
This was a great bag I have gotten into hammocking and the other bag I used was a little too big so I thought I would check one of these out used it, loved it. I stayed warm all night. One of my biggest complaints about other mummy style bags is not having enough room for my feet. You just unzip this bad boy and voila no compresso los feeto! I liked it alot. Jacob on Jun 8th 2015
