Spent this last July hiking around Idaho and these poles made every hike at least 25% easier. I felt like I could put most of my weight on them and they didn't bend or slip, yet light enough that they weren't a burden when I threw them in my pack. Don't think I will do another hike without them. Unknown on Sep 6th 2017
Getting ready for my first backpacking adventure, I had a last minute epiphany to purchase poles. I'm very glad I did. These poles are very lightweight and collapsible. They can tote easily in my Kelty pack, when not in use. There are two adjustments on the poles, which made adjusting easy to height (even with a full pack on). A rubber cover was included for the tips, theirs also attachment for snow. I got tired on the climb and used the poles to lean my hips on. With my full pack and body weight they held up great! They also helped break a fall coming back down the mountain. So yeah, I'm really glad I purchased these poles. Easy to use, functional, light to carry, sturdy, and life saver when I got tired. Got those poles for my wife to bring on shorter hikes (6miles). They work great, of course they are not super light weight $250 poles, but for the price they are great. Thomas on Apr 27th 2016
