Limited Warranty Policy and Guidelines
Kelty branded tents, backpacks, sleeping bags, and kid carriers purchased only from authorized sellers are warranted to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. This does not mean your lifetime, but the reasonable lifetime of the product, considering its age and how you have cared for and used it. Kelty branded lighting, trekking poles, furniture, sleeping pads, coolers, airbeds, drinkware, apparel, and accessories are covered by a one-year warranty to the original purchaser from an authorized seller that protects the original purchaser against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Please keep original sales receipt for all Kelty branded product purchases. We require proof of purchase from an authorized seller to qualify for warranty service, unless otherwise prohibited by law.
If a Kelty branded product covered by one of these warranty options qualifies as a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product, without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered, and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by this warranty. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use. This warranty does not cover consequential damages or any other losses arising from any defect of the product. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Damage not covered under warranty may be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for shipping.
Kelty’s Limited Warranty applies only to Kelty brand products purchased and used in the United States and products specifically authorized by Kelty for retail sale in Canada. For consumers, who are covered by consumer protection laws or regulations in their state of purchase or Canada, except in instances where those laws and regulations are not required to be cumulative, the benefits conferred by Kelty's Limited Warranty apply in addition to all rights and remedies conveyed by such consumer protection laws and regulations, including but not limited to these additional rights. Kelty’s Limited Warranty does not apply to products that are not Kelty-branded, even if packaged or sold with Kelty products. Non-Kelty-branded products may have the benefit of a manufacturer's warranty provided by the product manufacturer. Please see your product box and literature for details.
Kelty will not credit any customs taxes and duties. Customers may pursue their own refunds in their location. Any international warranty inquiries should be directed to the original retailer or distributor.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights, which vary from State to State.
