Lightweight and super comfortable! I've been using my Thermarest mated with the Trekker lounge kit all summer until I put a hole in it along the river.....bummer!!! So after a very long and uncomfortable night (left the patches at home) I made up my mind to get a replacement. After looking at 3 leg stools and other folders I went with the Kelty chair. I can roll it up and lash it to the kayak....stuff it in the pack or strap it to the bike rack. Never had a prob with the straps or stays (5'8" 170lbs). If you need a small, light, no fuss inexpensive chair take a look at the Kelty Camp Chair....and I even love the colors!!!

I've always found Kelty products to be of top notch quality but that is NOT the case with this chair. I used my chair for only one weekend camping trip. During that weekend, one stay in the back snapped in half. The stitching in the bottom also burst, allowing a stay to fall out. I was very surprised to discover the stays are not of aluminum as advertised, but flimsy plastic. The stitching is of poor quality and badly needs reinforcement at the end of the stays. I feel I was deliberately misled by the product features on this website and on the product tag (stays are not aluminum). Sorry Kelty, this is a cheaply made product and a poor representation of your brand.
