Fast to set up....or that's what the girlfriend tells me!
I've used this tent a handful of times (mostly use an ENO hammock) but the girl has used it 100 times and she just loves it! Paired up with the footprint and it's super simple to set up in all conditions....dark, rain and even high winds. If you ever camp with your sweetheart you will love the double entry/exit when the late night potty trips takes place! Gone are the days of having to move out of the way, now she has her own exit..lol
If you need a light, fast to set up, low cost tent check this one out! There's a reason it won "best all around tent" in '09

Great tent. I only wish the jake's feet were not permanently fixed to the tent. This prevents the setup of the fly and footprint as a light-weight shelter. A remedy for this would be to sell spare jake's feet.
If the tent clipped into the feet, then a person could set up the fly first and then pitch the tent under the fly in the case of a rainstorm.

Great tent. Used it with our boy scout troop over the last year and it works great. Quick and easy setup even in the dark. Rain doesn't bother it and it has great ventilation in the heat of summer. Two campouts last year in the low teens and just had to create a wind break on the end towards the wind to make it work. SHould be great for backpack trip with its light weight and size.

This tent is very easy and fast to set up, compact, and for a two-person tent it is light-weight. I've used this is the woods, a desert and even an unexpected blizzard (not recommended). It has stood up to everything I've thrown at it, and is still my go-to shelter. Great tent.
