As soon as I purchased the Redwing 3100, I immediately put it to the test on a 6 day 5 night hike in Dolly Sods National Park. The Pack experienced the rugged effects of rain, wind, dirt, even a raccoon tried to get into it while I was asleep and the pack showed no visible signs of wear. Pack felt comfortable even with a 48 pound load! I loved this pack and would recommend it to anyone and everyone who is serious about backpacking. Being a college student, I also used this pack for school because of it's versatility. I get compliments everyday on how cool it looks! Recently broke a sternum strap buckle and called Kelty, they replaced it free of charge no questions asked and shipped it the same day. I will only buy from Kelty until the day I die!
