  1. Aluminum Stays

The pack is rugged and comfortable.
It refuses to wear out. I'd better like it as I'll have it all my life.
I decided to wash it and pulled out the aluminum stays before putting through the washer.
Now I can't figure out where to put them back in
    Any clues? hints?

  2. Customer Review

As a true RTO pack, its great with all the little designs for commo gear. The only issue is the radio holder being built around the PSC-5 or PRC-117F. Both radios have been or soon will be replaced with the PRC-117G. Kelty needs to address the radio holder issue to fit the significantly slimmer PRC-117G. What I have done is just zip tie the metal bars of the 117G onto the inner frame to hold the radio high and centered. Works great. I also use this pack routinely as a 24-48 patrol pack, which it works wonderful for. I prefer it over many other packs I have been issued or bought. This is my favorite of many backpacks I own. on Oct 25th 2012

  3. Customer Review

I purchased this bag for Afghanistan and so far have no complaints. It is a great medium size assault ruck if thats what you are looking for and the side pockets are great for Mags and any other gear you might want to stuff. on Jun 25th 2011
