My last tent was a 2-person Kelty that was very similar to this one (Campsite?). It lasted 17 years so I went back to the well when it was time to replace it. This TN2 is everything that my old one was and more. It's easier to put up, has even more mesh than the last (didn't think that was going to be possible), and has 2 vestibules rather than 1. It's a great tent for the kind of canoe camping that my wife and I do. For those of you that put the rainfly down from within the tent: Does it really keep the rain out if you don't secure the corners to the Jake's Foot? on Dec 6th 2015

I'm sooooooo hoping that Big Agnes (sister company) comes out with a version of this tent that is at least one pound lighter than the TN2. Outside of the weight, this looks like a great tent to me. :-) I'm hoping a company rep reads this and considers what I wrote. on Nov 10th 2015

The tent went together incredible easy the first time I used it. The only thing I didn't like is the bag the tent came in, doesn't fit well in my pack and forget getting it back in easily after using it. I ended up buying a real nice stuff sack at REI to keep it in. on Apr 14th 2015

Love the design - being able to leave the fly open and lower it without getting out was awesome! It still did require a bit of scooting around in the tent, but it was easy. Used it for eight days in Anza Borrego Desert State Park. It was very windy and we had some overnight rains and the tent held up well. The stakes were too short for the sandy desert, and there weren't enough guylines for the sides of the fly (just the corners) so I had to purchase 12" stakes and I used the to stake out the sides of the fly (front and back end of the tent) so they didn't flop in the 40 mph wind gusts! My only complaint is that no matter how taught the tent was staked and guy lined, the ground edges of the vestibule "doors" were still loose and created noise during the windy nights. One night, it was warm enough that I just rolled one of the doors open to stop the noise. Otherwise, the tent and the footprint held up well, the screen kept way more of the dusty sand out than I expected, and all of the zippers and poles did exactly what they were supposed to do. Wish there was a video on folding it tightly to get it back into the pack though! on Mar 2nd 2015

This is an amazing tent! I took it out to Moab for a 3 day camping trip and I was able to see the Milky Way with the stargazing feature, and when it started to rain, I was able to put the fly in place without leaving my tent! on Nov 17th 2014

I have used this tent once and I have to say it is very well worth the money. The stargazing feature is awesome if you enjoy watching the night sky from the comfort of your tent. The floor is spacious and the near vertical walls make it very livable. I havent used it with the rainfly yet so I cant attest to the breath ability. Overall excellent tent. The unique stuff sack makes it great for backpacking too!! on Oct 6th 2014

  7. Customer Review

Kelty has always made solid tents, at fantastic prices. This particular tent doesn't stray from that canon. The tent is large, but lightweight. The internal space is quite luxurious, while mantaining a fairly small footprint for pitching in those nooks in the forest. Condensation was minimal, and pitching the tent was super easy. My only quibble is there is one large door, and one small door. Not sure why, but other than that I'm loving it. on Jun 29th 2014

  8. Customer Review

I got to test out a sample tent during a running race in Fruita and I totally fell in love. The huge mesh walls are awesome for airflow, light and star gazing. I also liked how I didn't have to worry about the fly, the way it rolls up and out of the way is so nice. on Mar 11th 2014
